I do this all the time. I only have one yorkie too. It normally happens when I'm getting dressed and she jumps on the bed. I use my hands though, and she knows that it's just playing because she doesn't bite hard... just barely nibbles.
She loves it and gets all excited... then runs and finds a toy so I can chase her around the house.
