I regret having mine shipped to me all alone. It was a 5 hour flight, plus layover and however long it took to load him up, then take him out of the plane. He smelled like urine, covered in fleas, and was shaking terribly when I finally got him out of his carrier. The breeder said he was freshly bathed when he was sent to me. I can excuse the urine smell, he probably had to go while in there, but the fleas.... That was a surprise. It's a gamble. You don't know what you're getting into until the pup arrives. Mine was 12 months old when he flew to me, and I'm sure it was a very traumatic experience for him. I agree with the above poster, yorkies aren't a package that can be sent all willy nilly.
