I would NOT recommend Cheryl Kroll - even though she may still be a YTCA listed breeder.
I bought from her a puppy in the summer of 2009. The puppy was diagnosed, after an MRI and a Spinal Tap, with GME, a congenital disease, in the spring of 2010. This means the breeder has the disease in her blood line. The puppy was immediately started on a therapy of Prednisone and Leflunomide. Unfortunately the puppy never went into remission and died witin 8 weeks of the diagnosis.
As a breeder for more than 15 years, Cheryl Kroll stated to me she never heard of the disease, was adamantly unresponsive about my request to share medical expenses and unwilling to refund the purchase cost of the puppy. |
I so feel your pain...I just went thru this with another well known breeder.
