You may think it totally unnecessary but one rule of thumb we always institute when 2 dogs from different households play or socialize - put away all the toys and chewies. You never know when the two most loving-acting dogs will send silent signals over the same object and these 2 best friends are fighting like 2 little tigers. With Yorkies, it is eyes that tend to get hurt in this type of fight. It is just to keep them safe in case 1 of them should decide to escalate. They can play and have great fun without these things to incite. It may never happen but it is better safe than sorry with Yorkies as they are so prey driven with possessions. Don't want to put a damper on the fun but they can play for hours without things to maybe cause a ruckus.
