I got lola the lyme prevention shot since my parents sometimes have a random deer run through their neighborhood. She got this done when she got her rabies shot. My question is, we live in NJ and it is cold weather months now....Lola has never been given any flea/tick medication or topicals.

Does she need them even with the lymes shot? in addition to? I read alot about advantage and capstar and other brands, just wondering if there is a sticky or information for me as to what to get her on or if its needed.

lola is almost 6 months.
