I hate to ask yet another dog food question, but here it is:

Rocco is on Wellness small breed and does very well with one exception: teary eyes and eye boogers. After doing some research, I'm guessing it's an allergy to the grain in the food, so I am considering switching him to Taste of the Wild (lamb formula) kibble.

My question is this: if it were your furbutt, would you tolerate the fairly minor issue of runny eyes/boogers or risk a switch that may or may not be better for him in the long run. I might add that Rocco tends to have a sensitive belly when he gets into things he shouldn't (eg, dropped brownie crumbs, a tasty stick or worm, etc.)
