I know I have posted how much Mikki has changed in her appearance since we got her in July. But she has also changed so much in personality.
We have had some rough days since we got her. Sometimes she can be so skittish and scared. And would hid under my bed for hours. She would just shake. I never really have figured out why. But I think she goes under the bed for security.
Anyway, she loves her new daddy and has started to get really really excited when he comes home. More so than Rosie. I keep telling my DH that she likes her new home.
Mikki has always wanted to be held. It is a comfort thing for her I think. She would jump up on your leg and scratch until you picked her up.
And then today happened. I was in the kitchen and Mikki came up to me. Instead of scratching at my leg, she stared up at me and started wagging her tail.
It was the sweetest thing! I wouldn't pick her up until DH brought the camera. So I quickly took a picture of her staring up at me. I thought it was so adorable.
I know I know. Maybe I am being crazy but I think it was a huge leap for her. I think she loves her new mommy!
I think she is very happy that she is with us now. From July until now. Huge leaps and bounds!
I am so glad I got her.
