I disagree.
People have expressed their displeasure and that is entirely different than what those people of the other group did. No one has said they don't belong in the contest for whatever cracked up reason they could come up with...and no one said they are cheating. What they did was the equivalent of calling a race card imho. I do think that some have been very vocal here but I also think that they kept it amazingly clean.
That group went beyond reacting strongly and trying to win. They used false statements and spoke disapprovingly of people saving yorkies....it was not "oh let's beat the yorkies and show them that cats rule". It was that yorkies are not worthy. That is how many read it. They said and I quote: "they cheated". That was after a statement that insinuated that we entered that contest under false pretenses. We did not "enter" anything...we received an email inviting us to participate. Parks picked us.
Did you see all of the posts on their members' facebook pages? They were honestly VERY inflammatory and I am quite proud of the YHR members and YT members for not responding at those people's level.
Let me further say that if a YHR member went on that page and said the things that those people did, there would have been a public apology from YHR. Yes, we would have reacted strongly.
