One more thing I forgot to tell you - the idea of rehab is to get them walking ASAP so there is no putting them in a sling to help them walk. I'm sure the doc will give you the proper instructions for after surgery rehab.
Also, I am giving her her regular food as you don't want a sudden food change - messy.
