Eye goobers are green? I doubt it is the food that sounds like an eye infection. I would make an appt. with your vet as soon as possible.

As far as food, I am not a Merrick's fan anymore. Their Quality Control Standards have really gone down hill. There is always a recall. I don't trust the company anymore. I have never tried Grandma Lucy's.. It might be a good place to start.
