I really, really feel for you. It's the worst time ever.

I know it doesn't apply to you - but the cremation system is completely different in the UK. We had to have our 14 year old labrador put to sleep 3 years ago. We saw her laid to rest - then had to leave for about 3 hours. We had organised a private cremation. When we returned, we were able to take her ashes away in her wooden urn (that's what we'd chosen) and her plaque was done.

It almost seemed too quick but at least we had her back. 3 hours start to finish. I don't know how you're coping - but I'm so, so sorry for your loss. Sally + Harry x
