I emailed about two different girls on Petfinder. I found one that I thought was the perfect girl for us. Come to find out she didn't get along with other females at all. Then the second one was scared of men. Well, I am the only human female here!
So that didn't work out either. I put my name on a waiting list for a puppy and then Mikki fell into my lap. It was fate! She was meant to be with me! So, if this one don't work out don't give up.
