Well, we got to visit macky..... He actually stood up for a second when he saw us and then collapsed back down. His eyes are so full of sadness. Those blue green eyes just pierce you with questions of why. We hugged and kissed him and told him we loved him. I brought him another one of his favorite blankies, his favorite bear, and a clean shirt (which due to his iv, he couldn't change into right now). The staff there probably thinks I'm nuts! Oh well!
Cross your fingers at 4.... Thats when they will try to give him a little bit of water to see if it stays down. Mack did seem comfortable though and didn't seem to be in alot of pain. He is getting pain meds as well though due to the surgery yesterday. I'll ck back in when I know more.
