HELPING A FRIEND. It is very frustrating to give good advice and then the person just ignores it. I know you really want to help her and we really want to help the puppy. I talked to a dear friend of mine that breeds Chihuahuas. She said 8 week is too young to adopt a puppy. That they don't understand the concept of potty training until week 10, 11, or 12. They need to be in a safe area like an empty deep bath tub with a warm blanket food, water and a pee pad and a few safe chew toys, or blocked on a tile floor with a gate, in an exercise pen etc.. It helps if they have access to their tiny crate to sleep in. That Wawa pups need to be put on the potty pad or taken out about every hour and every 3 or 4 hours at night ! I hope this information helps.
