We're still dealing with Gracie eating her poop - not as much as she used to but it's still an issue. So, I usually catch her but not before she's gotten some of it in her mouth. When I do, I wash her mouth out and brush (or wipe) her teeth with her poultry toothpaste. She loves the toothpaste (not so much the brushing) and I started to wonder if she thinks the toothpaste is a reward!! I certainly don't want to reinforce the poop eating behavior with positive reinforcement (yummy toothpaste) but I don't want poopy puppy kisses either. What a dilemma
