If it were me, these are things I'd take into consideration... age of the children, how well the kids get along with current dogs, and whether I have the time and funds to care for a third (including vet bills, food, etc.)
Sounds like you already have multiple dogs and children
so I would assume they currently get along
If time and funds aren't an issue, go with your gut!
