I think anyone who has had a break in is going to feel unsafe for a very long time. I think you would feel that way even without your puppy. For your own peace of mind you should probably invest in some sort of security for your home.
I don't worry too much about such things but I do try not to leave Gracie for long periods of time. I like to have her with me and she does not like to be alone. The last time I left her alone for several hours she was so upset when we got home that she started to do like a reverse sneeze and she had never done that before. |
