I read through both your posts. And I understand that this (the blood in the poop) was a one time occurance. And that you're also looking for someone that has experienced this.

What we're trying to say is yes, many of us have or have been around others that have experienced this. And our advice would be to take the dog to the vet. If I saw blood in Gizmo's stool, he'd be off to the vet. Reactions to shots can in fact range from itching at the injection site, to seizures. Just like blood int he stool can range from a cut on the rectum, to kidney failure.

I see that you compare it to a child having a fever the day before. Well, let's now compare your actual situation to a child. If your child was pooping out blood, would to not take them to the doctor? I hope to God you would.

So I guess what I'm saying from experience and from having a dog with GI issues, it would be best for a dog to go to the vet to rule out anything bad to ensure this is in fact a one time occurance.
