I hope people are not misunderstanding. The scary episode with all the symptoms was last week. Lulu didn't have blood in her vomit only bile and she didn't have some sort of violent vomiting episode or something like that, she gagged a little bit and threw up a little bit of bile which would indicate her stomach must have been empty at the time.

Yes there was some blood (read a little bit of blood) in the mucous or on the outside of her stool when there was stool later that evening. If you read about these sorts of incidents you discover that it can happen and is not cause for alarm as long as it is not something that lasts or repeats.

Taking Lu to the vet when she no longer has symptoms is like taking your child to the doctor when they had a fever yesterday but are fine today and are running around playing like nothing happened. What would you like the doctor or vet to do when symptoms are not currently present and only lasted for a short period of time? From what I have been reading the time to become concerned is if she does it again, which is why I was concerned last night but then nothing further developed.

It's not necessary to run to the vet or the doctor for every little thing. If there had been anything in what I read or in Lu's current health that indicated this was something to be immediately checked out then that is what I would do.

I did feel a twinge of panic last night when I thought she might be starting up the same cycle because that would definitely indicate she needs to be seen by a vet and that it could possibly be something more serious. My twinge of panic was apparently for nothing as no other symptoms returned and Lu ate fine, played, raced around like a crazy woman (zoomies) and her bowel movements were normal last night and this has continued throughout today.

I was simply asking if anyone here had experienced something similar with their dog and if they found it to be stress related. (ie. like maybe something like irritable bowel etc.)

As far as the possibility of it being from her shots, while it is remote I have come across articles where dogs have had unusual reactions several weeks after receiving their shots. Apparently it can take time for a dog's immune system to react sometimes.

I hope how I described things earlier did not have people worried that I was being irresponsible or that I was unaware that such symptoms could indicates a serious health issue. I assure you this is not the case.
