Sorry, I am just now reading this. I didn't even have to call the vet. His itching has almost stopped completely. I really think the Comfortis and using Minksheen shampoo helped. I never knew that Minksheen repels bugs. I am pretty sure that I will be using Minksheen on him from now on.
