I am not sure if I am writing this in the right place. This is my first ever forum and I am not sure where to go. So my apologies if this is in the wrong spot.

I just got a Yorkie on 10/14/11. He is 12 weeks today. My question is this, Is it better to crate them or put them in a small area if you are going to be gone all day with no one to come walk them? I leave at 7:30 and return at 6:00 pm. i keep seeing different opinions on what;s best as far as training.
