I have never cut Dudleys hair down all the way. He is soooo tiny I left him long and only trim around his face alittle bit and his legs and bootie. Kayla is cut down with a #10 blade on her back only and that is not too short for her. She has thick thick hair and it just makes her look neater. Then with sissors I trim around her face, bootie. I think I would be glad she at least didn't scalp him like some groomers do. I know it will grow back but boy some of these groomers can do a horrible job on them. Like someone said, go get a grooming book, buy you some good equipment and do it yourself. Saves money in the long run and keeps your baby safe. With some of the things that have been happening I would almost be afraid to take mine to a groomer. Good luck and you can do it and probably be happier with the way your baby looks.
