The way i stopped myself going on those sites in the UK, was to start writing to MPs and councillors to complain about puppy mills/farms. I look at sites offering puppies and check that they are licenced breeders. If not, i write to the local council.
For every puppy bought, there will be an older desperate dog being put down.
Please visit a local rescue if you want another dog.
Even if you dont want to adopt a rescue dog, have a look at the rescue pages and see how many dogs are begging to be given a second chance.
Last year in the Uk 126,000 stray and abandoned dogs were picked up. 20 dogs every day were put down...thats almost one dog put down every hour of every day, and i'm sure USA was much worse
I don't want to rain on your parade, all puppies are cute, but breeding has got out of hand.
