I started looking at Yorkie pups today. I set up a few meetings this week.

One lady told me she had two males left. The picture she sent me was of a 11 week old puppy. Well she pulled one out of the kennel and it was the fluffiest, most matted looking yorkie pup I've seen. His ears were super skinny and scabbed on the back (not sure why?). The inside of his ears were filthy. I asked to see the other one and she reached in and pulled out a 6.5 week old puppy!!! He was FAT, rolly polly and heavierr than the 11 week old puppy and there was no way he was pure yorkie. His fur was coarse and mingled with brown. When I was holding him he threw up all over my legs and it was a pure liquid, clearish yellow color. She said it was because he hadn't eaten today and the car ride made him sick. She said he was the only one of the litter still alive (she lost them at birth she said).

AND, she was trying to sell them for 750!!!!!

I guess i shouldn't be so shocked. The level of dog care here is appalling. But still. I told her no thanks and left as quick as I could.
