HA! My DH said those words verbatim when I got Rocco. Within hours he was rocking him like a baby and now he refers to him as "his" dog (nope!). He even has "daddy time" with him on Saturday mornings and they get up early, go for a ride in his truck and do errands or go for a walk!!
