There was once a time that I thought having multiple dogs would be fun! I had two medium sized breed dogs at the same time. I loved them dearly and before my adopting of the second I evaluated everything. My finances, time, love, etc. I felt I had everything in order to have multiples. That situation taught me that I'm a one dog household. I couldn't do multiples anymore because of the time, the strain on my relationship at the time, and even the ability to take them with me.

I'm not trying to deter you but it seems you've evaluated your situation and feel that this is something you can and want to do. I think sometimes we get caught up in the enjoyment of pets and optimism about what they can bring to our lives but also have to be very realistic about the small details of adding a new family member. I wish you all the best in your decision. I don't think you're crazy at all for wanting a yorkie girl.
