I'd be wondering what to do for the best, too! My first thought would be - the person staying at your house - does Bella know him/her well and do they get on? I was thinking along the lines of you're going to be soooo busy and time taken up with family, that might be the best option, for her to stay at home?
At least the hotel you're going to does accept pets if need be - is Bella used to being left on her own in strange hotel rooms (I truly didn't mean for that to sound rude or horrible!!
) - only we once left Harry in his crate with all his bits and pieces in our hotel room while we went down for dinner - and the receptionist actually came and got us out of the restaurant because of his howling...!!!!
