I am new to this site but figured I'd post my question before calling my vet tomorrow morning. I found a bald spot on the very top of my 11 month old baby. It is slightly darker than her pale pink skin with an area of pallor surrounding it. My first thoughts were ring worm. Also, I noticed a few weeks ago an area of what looked to be new hair grown very close to this area which is a richer gold than the rest of her hair and is also shorter. Sometimes I feel like a crazy over-concerned new parent but she really does mean the world to me. I also fear mange and pray it is not that.
I'd appreciate input if only to allay some of my fears!
