I don't think they come in colours but they were recommended by the TV vet over therein the USA. I think they look quite good. Tootsy will resist anything on her feet, I know. She hates anything on her legs like 'sleeves' from coats. I would like to get her used to them as the winters over here are getting bad and the ice, salt and grit irritates her paws. I have been waiting for some really positive recommendations for a particular boot, but there seems to be a lot of different opinions. Eventually I will just have to purchase some and hope for the best, I guess.
I know about alldogboots and may contact her - I haven't seen anything that I particularly like on her site, though. As you say, gracielove, I suspect that they do like to feel the ground beneath their feet. I don't want a boot I have to struggle to get on and I don't want a thick sole. I definitely want a velcro strap to secure the boot.
