Me, my mom, and dad took Callie and Sammy to the Petsmart Halloween party today and it was so cute how much closer they seemed today. Sammy is a rescue and my parents have had him for a year now and he would snap at big dogs and he would be so scared he would immediately poo when we went to the pet store or like the vet. Well he did so great today no poo when we were in petsmart and when he was walking around he did great his tail was wagging and he only snapped at one dog (he has never bitten another dog or I would not have taken him). When Sammy and Callie where in the cart and he got scared when a bigger dog was barking like crazy he backed up so he was touching Callie. Then we came home and I gave Callie a pain pill because before the party she was running around like crazy and I didnt want her knees to start hurting. We took them both to the park and went on a walk and they walked right next to each other. Then when we got back home they laid right next to each other to chew there bones. I have some pictures of them laying next to each other chewing the bones. For the first time in a long time Callie didnt just find the closest dog bed on the floor and go to sleep when they left she actually walked around a bit and chewed a bone then got in her favorite chair and went to sleep. Normally her knees hurt her to bad after a day with Sammy and she just goes to sleep but I guess the pain medicine worked and didnt make her sleepy or anything. It was such a great day today so I thought I would share. Sammy is on the left and Callie is on the right.
