Our "animal control" in our area has not always been very helpful to ppl (heard by word of mouth). Rescues in our area have been more helpful to ppl. |
Animal control picks and chooses what they want to do in most places. I haven't had much luck with them in the past. I think I would try to see if a police office would go with you to pick the pup up. Tell them you are worried it is a scam. Wouldn't hurt to try.
