I have one that eats leaves and just about anything else you can think of. Irritates the crap out of me! Seems he has been pretty close to obstructing over his habits. Anyway, I'll be ordering a basket muzzle soon (have you tried this instead of a nylon muzzle?). Also, how many minutes did you give for him to move around and go potty before deciding he can't be muzzled? I'd think just pick a nice day, muzzle him, carry him outside, and sit there for an hour until he decides that he isn't going to win this one. A gentle leader might work. You can pull their faces up quickly that way.
