I ordered mine online because it was (in my husband's opinion) cheaper to pay shipping than have to go to New Orleans to pick it up at the feed store.

I ordered a 5# bag for my oldest daughter's yorkie, Sebastian, who is having skin problems and was eating Chicken Soup. The 5# bag online was $6.64. My 40# bag was $30. I had to pay shipping on both but it was worth it to me.

As New Orleans recovers more from the hurricane damage, I'll be able to pick up bags instead of having to have it shipped from online dealers.

Also, my daughter will be moving back to our area, so we'll kill two birds with one stone when I purchase large bags for my 3 plus her one!

There is an online dealer for the midwest that doesn't charge shipping -- if you happen to be lucky enough to be in that region.
