Hey!
I'd say as long as it's your money and you are not depending on anyone else or need financial help from anyone else then go for it!!! Its your money and your choice. My fiance family are very poor at managing their money and very broke all the time. They resent us for what we spend. It used to bother me A LOT... but over the last year or so, I just came to the conclusion that whether I spent it or saved it, it was still my money. So we now buy what we want and to heck with them. They can get mad and stay away if they want to. That is their choice. We pay all our bills first and then spend what we want. We save for things that are bigger expenses and never asked for a dime from anyone to help us financially.... if you are responsible and independent then GO FOR IT!
