Exactly dont discuss how much you spent. Just say something like not enough for the love I get back if asked. It is no ones business how much you spent or if you adopted from a breeder. Now I believe in all the good work rescues and shelters do and I believe we should support them but it doesnt necessarily mean everyone needs to adopt from them to me. People for a variety of reasons want to adopt a puppy and I think everyone should be able to experience the joys of having a new puppy at least once. Later on in life when they want to adopt another they may decide they dont want to go through puppyhood again and want to adopt an adult and go through a shelter or rescue and thats great for them and great for dog. |
