I had the same family reaction to me buying George. I put the end to it by saying to my husband who is a musician that he would spend thousands for a guitar that would say look no different to me then the one that cost a few hundred and same with a car to me they are just a mode of transportation can't
see why some are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars when they all do the same thing get you from point A to B. Finally made him realize its all relative and a dog is not just a dog .
