The thing to remember is, just like we have a hard time knowing which breeders are reputable and good, they have no way of knowing which families will be careful and which won't.
Unfortunately, rules don't usually cater to special circumstances. I think the members of this community are going to be more prone to taking extra special care and I have no doubt that you all are making sure your babies are safe. However, this community is just a tiny section of the general population, so we might need to consider that the general rules are created to deal with folks who typically aren't going to post in a forum like this.
