I have four year old and six year old daughters and a three year old male Yorkie. I have had no problems with my girls being gentle and not to picking him up. They get along great and he loves to go in their rooms every-night with me and give them kisses before bed they are not allowed to be alone with him because well I have seen to many news stories about previously wonderful dogs biting their owners children or guests so we are very careful.
I have seen a few threads where people seem to be looking down their noses at people that have Yorkies and children
I like this forum but I don't understand this attitude not all children are mean,rough or thoughtless just like not all pits are monsters.
