I've always used the puppia harness with the solid round neck opening and have never had a problem with it other than ZoE doesn't like it going over her head. I bought a step-in version for the first time and have used it for the past couple of weeks with no issue. Then the other day I had ZoE in the harness attached to a long 20ft puppy training lead so she could run around a bit. When she was at the farthest distance away from me, so the lead was taught, she turned around and backed up. I watched in horror as the harness slipped off right over her head. Thankfully, she's well trained to come when I call her and she did....but my heart was beating out of my chest the whole time as we were in the front yard & I live on a main road. Scary!
