I also got Taycie the little girls bands from Walmart in the Little girl section. I have a small cosmetic bag that I keep her little grooming things handy.. It has her toothbrush and toothpaste in it as well.

I just started with rubberbands first and then worked up to bows. I like the bows with the alligator clips with teeth.. they stay in great. For night time, I use the little soft bands you can also find in the girl section. I remember them from when I was little. Goodie is the brand I buy. I like these at night because they are soft and using a rubberband all the time, can lead to hair breakage and a bald dog. You really won't have to worry about those bands until the hair is longer though. I just took her ponytail out at night when she was little.
