At night & when I'm gone, my heat is down at 58. I put a sweater on ZoE every morning before I leave. This is a photo of her today.
I knit her 'stay at home sweaters' deliberately so they are a little tighter & don't have legs because I noticed that sometimes when she'd wear a sweatshirt/hoodie, she would get her paw caught up in the armhole area. That could be dangerous if that happen while I was gone & she tried to jump and landed wrong. This way, her core is kept a lil bit warmer.
She also has a den that she snuggles in that blocks any drafts. Before I had this I would leave her crate out with a blanket thrown over it that covered the top & 3 sides. Maybe you could try that.
