Day one after surgery. Surgery went well and she had a good night. This morning her rehab nurse told me she ate a good breakfast and will be removing the IV fluids and drugs. She is up and walking - on three legs - and when the nurse told her to put her foot down she did. I think she will be coming home tomorrow - hopefully. I feel so relieved that she is staying with the surgeon and his nurse/rehab wife at their home during this time.
