I'm glad to hear Gatsby is getting good pain relief and doing pretty well. Thank goodness for the vet that was there to take care of this baby's wounds and put him on the road to recovery. I do not know what I would have done if I hadn't been 7 minutes away from the vet - door-to-door, when Jilly got attacked! I just don't know if my heart would have held out to get her to a vet an hour or so away and involving a long drive I had to undertake while trying to comfort her and keep her safe! Thank goodness for our urban society - it tries my patience to the limits at times but getting my dog to the vet when he needs treatment is so basic to my peace of mind that I just don't know how I could function without this priceless service minutes away. In a crisis situation, that man's clinic is the finest sight in the world to me!
