Default Sudden Paranoia

Hi everyone.

I have been up all night. Max is a 4 year old, healthy boy. He has been acting completely normal and we haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. In the middle of the night, he jumped up and startled our other yorkie while in bed. I thought he was chasing a fly (we have one in here that I can't seem to catch) as he is usually really attentive and kills spiders, bugs, etc. After watching him for 15 minutes I realized there was NOTHING. Ever since he's been just pacing and searching for something, but there is nothing to be found.

I was able to have him lay with me for about an hour while I pet him and he relaxed. Now, he's back at the pacing.

His stool has been normal, he's been eating, and was 100% normal yesterday and last night.

I'm thinking about calling the vet this AM.

Has anyone experienced this?!
