IMO, the earlier you start with the topknot the sooner they become used to it being there. By 10 weeks old, I had ZoE in a topknot. It was a pathetic looking thing. A small band (left over from when my kids had braces..lol) that held just a few hairs on the top of her head. It was just a lil fountain. But, everytime I put it in I told her what a pretty girl she is.

Now she's 10 months old and each morning after breakfast, she jumps up onto the chaise lounge and expects to be groomed & have her topknot put it ....and of course..told how pretty she is. Then she jumps down, gets the morning zoomies and runs like a crazy dog through the house
