We're working with a dog behaviorist with our three Yorkies. She said to use treats that aren't crunchy. We had cooked up venison, but it gave my oldest diarrhea. I now just use her Wellness for small breed kibble (her regular food). Boiled chicken or other lean meat in tiny pieces is the best for training, though.
