That's awful ChaCha. Ontario has thousands of lakes, some small some large. We were about one hour north of Parry Sound, which in turn is about 2.5 hr drive north of toronto. Here we call that area the "near north" versus where we went two summers ago to Lake Superior the "far north". This lake was pretty clean and clear, we were also lucky to be on a little bay, and there was only one other cottager present during the week we were there.
