Poor Monica! I'd be upset, too! But then I couldn't hit a bull in the butt with a bass fiddle!!
Try buying Irish Spring soap bars and carve them into big chips and drop the chips down into the holes. It sure keeps the deer from eating my Hostas!
Also, my boss buys coyote urine off of the Internet and uses it to mark his property to keep the critters away. (He lives in a rural area and I'm in a subdivision so he has more variety.)
Better yet, fill the holes with coyote urine, bubble gum, soap and moth balls. May stink to high heavens, but all your bases are covered!!
