Gizmo looks adorable with his top knot. We have a male, too, who had a very short cut when we adopted him. I've let his hair grow out and after about 4 months it was finally long enough to put up. Every morning I wash his face, brush his teeth and put his hair up. In a rubber band, though, no bows.
When we take him out, most people assume he's a girl, and say how beautiful "she" is. I just accept the compliment and don't correct them. He is secure in his manhood and so is my husband, so it doesn't matter what uninformed people say. When our friends tease us about it, Jim tells them that Wendell wears his hair like a Samurai warrior. |
