Short story: I got a premonition I would win this prize as I was perusing the prize list before the drawing. I'll be honest... with all the great prizes my thoughts were 'Great.... something else to dust! Just what I need!'
Then, I forgot all about it and I failed to contact Ms Yvonne for almost a month or two. Well, I finally emailed her about the prize, but I had PC problems, again, so I wasn't sure she got my message. So a few weeks or months later, I emailed her again.
The prize was in my mailbox the next day. Yay! I was preparing to leave on vacation, so I hurriedly opened the box to see the sculpture. I had checked out her website and honestly, her sculptures looked nice, but I was thinking maybe kind of small... anyway I wasn't overly impressed.
I got the Yorkie figurine out of the box, and again, honestly, I thought 'OMG! It's fantastic! Not too small at all! Very detailed and realistic. I love it! I like it better than any Yorkie figurine I have to date!
Ms Yvonne, you do excellent work, and I want to thank you so much for donating this great prize for the raffle, and I am so happy to have won it. My sincerest apologies to you for my tardiness and attitude throughout, and thankyou too for your patience in dealing with me.
